Double Layer Palakka Coin Combo Necklace

The shorter necklace is a classic Kasu Mala or coin chain. It features a row of closely set, circular gold coins (kasu), each delicately embossed with the image of Goddess Lakshmi seated on a lotus, symbolizing wealth and good fortune. The top trim is accented with tiny ruby-red stones. The longer necklace is designed in the traditional Kerala Palakka style. It features repeating leaf- or teardrop-shaped units inlaid with a vibrant, glossy emerald-green enamel (Palakka). Each green leaf motif is topped with a tiny ruby-red kemp stone spacer, creating a beautiful color contrast.
